Kerry matches picked for live TV coverage

The RTÉ cameras will be in Tralee on the opening night of the league as Kerry get their 2024 season up and running with a Division 1 Round 1 match against Derry.
The Ulster side, now managed by Tyrone icon Mickey Harte, had Kerry on the ropes in last year’s All-Ireland semi-final before Jack O’Connor’s men fought back and finished strongly to advance to the final, which they ultimately lost to Dublin.
A bumper crowd is expected at Austin Stack Park on Saturday, January 27 but those who are unable to attend will be pleased to know that RTÉ will provide live coverage of the game, which begins at 5.30pm.
Kerry’s home game against Mayo in Round 3 (February 17) will also be broadcasted live on RTÉ, with other fixtures expected to be picked up by TG4 and GAAGO.
The week before the Derry game, on Friday, January 19, The Kingdom will take part in the McGrath Cup final, more than likely against Cork - assuming the Rebels can overcome the challenge of Waterford.
