W
Work has finally commenced on the new Killarney graveyard. Kerry County Council have confirmed that preliminary works began on the site, which is located in Knockeendubh out the Tralee Road, earlier this week.
Initial preparation and clearance of the site is currently being carried out.
The Killarney Advertiser campaigned heavily for the development of a new graveyard in the Killarney area and, as such, are delighted with the news that this project is going ahead.
