A woman was airlifted from Cnoc na Toinne in the McGillycuddy Reeks on Tuesday evening after falling 30 metres.
The woman in her 70s suffered multiple non-life-threatening injuries.
A total of 18 members of the Kerry Mountain Rescue Team were deployed to the scene around 4pm on Tuesday.
“The casualty was treated on scene by team members and a haul system was set up to bring her by stretcher to a safe location on the ridge above, where she was airlifted by R115 Coastguard Heli and subsequently transported to University Hospital Limerick for further treatment,” said a Kerry Mountain Rescue Team spokesperson.
