Whitebridge residents want traffic noise reduction
Local Independent Cllr. Martin Grady raised a motion at the recent Killarney Municipal District meeting that Kerry County Council and Transport Infrastructure Ireland would provide funding and erect sound barriers at the Pike Hill.
The N22 Cork road near Whitebridge Manor. accommodates high volumes of traffic on a daily basis all year round.
These properties are within 10 metres of the road, the residents of Whitebridge Manor deserve better than this.
“There’s sound barriers at either end of the Killarney By Pass. What’s good for the Goose is good for the Gander.” he told the meeting.
