West End premiere for Oscar-winning documentary on Gaza

The Oscar-winning documentary 'No Other Land' will have its first Kerry screening at the West End School of Arts on July 3.
'No Other Land' shows the destruction happening in Masafer Yatta, a group of villages in the Southern West Bank in Palestine. The film aims to show what Palestinians are going through under Israeli occupation. It won Best Documentary at this year's Academy Awards in Los Angeles.
The event will include a wine and nibbles reception before the film. There are two screening times: 5:30pm and 7:30pm. Attendees can chat and mingle in the West End School before the documentary.
Sally MacMonagle, who recently visited Aida Refugee Camp in Bethlehem, will speak at the screenings.
Tickets cost €25.00. All money raised will go to Camp Breakerz Crew, a children's charity in Gaza. This group provides dance as a creative outlet for children. Camp Breakerz Crew also helps with food distribution in Nuseirat Camp and Deir-Al-Balah due to food shortages in Gaza caused by the Israeli blockade on aid.
