Vintage Club donates €10,000 to Kerry Mental Health
Killarney Valley Vintage and Classic Club has made a significant contribution to local mental health services this week.
A donation of €10,000 was presented to Kerry Mental Health, funds raised during the highly successful All-Ireland Vintage Rally held at Muckross House in August.
the rally transported visitors back to the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s, showcasing traditional farming activities and a range of vintage vehicles and machinery.
The event, which attracted thousands of visitors, offered a nostalgic journey through time. Attendees were treated to a captivating display of vintage vehicles, machinery, and traditional farming practices, including threshing, ploughing, and haymaking.
The club expressed thanks to the trustees of Muckross Traditional Farms and Toddy Doyle for their invaluable support in hosting the event and for selecting Kerry Mental Health as the beneficiary.
