By Sean Moriarty
Newly arrived Ukrainians will get to sample Irish music, song and dance at a special event tomorrow night (Monday).
Gaelic Roots, the resident Irish culture show at the Avenue Hotel has extended an invitation to the refugees to attend their performance.
So far 62 people, including 16 children, have taken up the offer.
“We want to show them what is happening in Killarney and let them see Irish culture first hand,” Suzanne O’Donoghue of the Avenue Hotel told the Killarney Advertiser.
“A lot of their kids play musical instruments – it will be a nice night out for everyone.”
Deros Coaches will provide free transport to the venue.
