Tricel further expands into Denmark

A Killarney-based manufacturer has acquired a Danish company which will see it expand its operations in France, Germany, Belgium and Scandinavia.
The Tricel Group, which has its headquarters in Killarney, comprises of 12 companies across Europe, with six manufacturing operations. It employs more than 520 people at these locations.
Its latest acquisition is with Biokube a leading manufacturer of composites in the Nordic regions.
"As with all our acquisitions, we are delighted to have found another European Union-based business of Biokube's quality and capability. We intend to protect and nurture the excellent business built and continue supporting it throughout the next phase of its ambitious international expansion plan," Tricel CEO, Mike Stack, said.
