The Franciscan Friars are taking their annual remembrance ceremony online tonight (Friday) to comply with Level 5 restrictions.
The annual ceremony, which will take place at 8pm, will go ahead without parishioners this year.
Instead, the Friars will gather around The Tree of Remembrance to pray for all those named on the tree.
The ceremony will be live-streamed on Facebook: killarneyfranciscans.
“Unfortunately we cannot have people here to be part of the ceremony but it is important to say that the Brothers and Friars will be remembering loved ones and the deceased at this time," said Ann Marie O’Leary of the Friary Office. "If you cannot watch live on Facebook, it is possible to go back into the page at a later time to watch it.”
