Tree huggers reschedule attempt to turn over new leaf in world record books

DUE to adverse weather conditions, the tree-hug world record attempt has been rescheduled and the date is now set for this Friday, May 27. Duncan Stewart, Eco Eye TV series, launched the world record tree hug attempt which takes place at the restored Killarney House and Gardens as part of the Celebration of Trees event.
There are two entrances for event, gathering at 11.30am, opposite St Mary's Cathedral and the Golden Gates entrance, on May 27.
This is an initiative of Just Forests in association with the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Killarney National Park, Killarney Tidy Towns, Killarney Chamber of Commerce & Tourism and the Trustees of Muckross House.
