TEIR One to be launched at Chamber meeting
T
The Killarney Chamber of Tourism and Commerce’s annual Open Business Meeting will be held next Monday evening, January 29 at 6.30pm in the Killarney Avenue Hotel.
In 2017 the Chamber commissioned W2 Consulting to undertake a study into the economic impact of tourism in Killarney. There was a tremendous response from the business community in Killarney as well as hundreds of visitors surveyed.
The TEIR One (Tourism Economic Impact Report) launch will take place on this evening. Chamber President Paul O’Neill has urged locals to make it their business to attend. There will also be a presentation by Mark O'Connell of W2 consulting and Q & A session. It is the first study of this kind ever undertaken to refine the importance of the tourist industry to Killarney, Kerry and Ireland.
There will also be updates provided on upcoming events and plans, which will be followed by a buffet and wine. The cost is €15 per member and €20 for non-members.
The evening is open to non-members as well as members so please feel free to 'spread the word'.
