Sun smiles on arrangements for Models in Recovery fashion extravaganza

THE sun-drenched atmosphere outside the INEC, Killarney, this afternoon chimed perfectly with the positive vibe surrounding one of the town’s most exciting and feelgood fashion events. Killarney Advertiser was delighted to catch up with the super-creative team behind the Models in Recovery style extravaganza.
During the third annual event, which takes place on Thursday, September 1, Majella O’Donnell will be doing a star turn on the catwalk as special guest of the organisers, members of the Killarney branch of Kerry Hospice Foundation.
This charity fashion show will showcase autumn/winter collections when it is staged at the INEC, Killarney.
Proceedings commence with a wine reception at 7pm sharp with the models strutting their stuff on the runway at 7.30pm.
Boutiques taking part include Killarney-based McBees, Shirley’s Unique Headpieces, The Pill Box, Quills Menswear, Kerry’s Boutique, Wisteria Boutique, Weardrobe, New Look, Brian James Menswear and Deirdre’s Fashions and Annette’s Boutique, Abbeyfeale, Co Limerick.
A whole host of door prizes are up for grabs, including two nights’ bed and breakfast for two at the Killarney Avenue Hotel, a €200 voucher from O’Keeffe’s (Rathmore), a voucher to the value of €200 for the Killarney Oaks Hotel, and a four-course dinner for two at the Victoria House Hotel.
