Successful Rás for Killarney riders
T
The Killarney team had a fantastic and very successful Rás Tailteann which they took part in from May 20-28. All of the Team, which was made up by Marcus Treacy, Patrick Clifford, Richard Maes, John Brosnan and Conor Kissane, finished the eight-day professional race around Ireland. Killarney were the only domestic team to finish with all five riders which in itself is a huge success.
Competitors have said that Rás Tailteann would not have been possible for the team without the fantastic support of Team Manager Joe O’ Shea, Mike Kissane, Billy Reidy, Stephen Daly and Tomás Mac an tSaoir.
“A huge thank you to all of the individuals and businesses for their support for the team,” said Marcus Treacy, “and to all of those who took time to come out and cheer on the team when the race passed through Killarney.”
Well done to the lads from everyone at the Killarney Advertiser.
