Stars come out for Irish Post Music Awards
The inaugural Irish Post Music Awards took place at the INEC Killarney last week. The event, which was presented by Síle Seoige and Malachy Cush and was broadcast on TG4, included live performances from The Blizzards, The High Kings, Una Healy and Phil Coulter.
Popular Mullingar band The Automatic were named best Irish Indie Act while This Morning by Picture This was named Best Irish Album. The Outstanding Contribution to Irish Music Award went to Chris de Burgh and the Lifetime Achievement Award went to Phil Coulter.
