St Brigid’s Students get into the Festive Spirit
This week, St Brigid's Choir visited Killarney Nursing Home and St Columbanus Community Hospital to bring festive cheer to the residents
.
As well as entertaining the residents with their singing, the girls handed out homemade Christmas cards, Caoimhe O' Halloran danced, Jennifer Rea played the concertina and the girls danced a half set.
“Many thanks to the Music teachers, Miss Healy and Mr.Roberts for their work in preparing the girls for these activities and in helping to spread some Christmas cheer to our local community,” said the school’s Mr Lyons.
Earlier in the week the choir sang at the Turning on of the Lights Ceremony at the Brehon Hotel.
