Special Chatroom celebrates the Advertiser’s birthday
Kieran Healy had a special guest on the couch this week as Killarney Advertiser CEO Cormac Casey popped in to celebrate the magazine’s 45th birthday.
Cormac’s father Danny established the Advertiser in March 1973 and almost half a century later it’s still at the forefront of local media.
Kieran asks Cormac about the origins of the Advertiser and how proud he feels about the role it plays in the community.
He also tells us about Charlie Haughey and a last minute photograph at the train station, as well as his favourite memory of the Advertiser growing up.
He lets us know what he misses about the old days and his vision for the Advertiser in the future. Check it out right now!
