There was more national glory for Spa at the Knockrea Arena, Sligo IT last weekend as the club’s set dancers claimed yet another All-Ireland title.
A bumper crowd of over 1,500 savoured and enjoyed the unique atmosphere created by the All-Ireland Scór competition and were in turn treated to a wonderful evening’s entertainment from clubs representing each of the four provinces.
From Kerry’s prospective it was a very special occasion as they were represented in three of the eight disciplines on the day. When the adjudicators made their final deliberations, the Kingdom had a familiar winner: the Spa set dancers.
Spa’s winning team was made up by talented youngsters Erin Holland, Meghann Cronin, Siona Moynihan, Orlaith Spillane, Liam Spillane, Gary O’Sullivan, Cian O’Sullivan and Eoghan Mulvaney.
The victory marked back-to-back national titles for the Tullig club.
