Sixth Class say farewell to Kilcummin NS

By Michelle Crean
It is the end of an era for Sixth Class pupils who are moving on and up the school ladder this September.
A special Mass was arranged for Kilcummin National School pupils Cian Maher, Conor Finnegan, Ella O'Connell, Emma Houlihan, Gabriel Florea, Grace O'Sullivan, Joe O'Connor, Mark Fleming, Niamh Bowler, Oran Lynch, Rebecca Murphy, Sadbh O'Halloran, Seán Fleming and Sophie Carroll.
The schools' Parents' Association kindly presented the pupils with class jerseys with their signatures on the back, following their Graduation Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
"We are very proud of them and wish them the very best in secondary school," Principal Gillian Sheehan told the Killarney Advertiser.
"A special word of thanks to Fr Kieran O'Brien for celebrating a very special Mass with our Sixth Class, their families and staff."
