Killarney Rotary Club will host their Young Musician of The Year competition next weekend.
The 18th annual contest will unfold in the Kerry Diocesan Youth Centre, Fairhill on March 9 & 10 and the associated concert will take centre stage in The Gleneagle Acoustic Club on Saturday, March 10 at 7.30pm.
The competition offers rising stars of the music world an unrivalled opportunity to showcase their talents. “The Killarney Rotary Young Musician competition was established by Killarney Rotarians Barry Murphy and Sean Treacy in 2001,” said Killarney Rotary president Eduard Schmidt Zorner.
“Its success is a testament to the young musicians of Kerry and their parents. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the concert in The Gleneagle Acoustic Club. Tickets are available in advance or on the door on the night.”
Killarney Advertiser is delighted to be media partner and trophies sponsor for the fifth consecutive year. The Killarney Rotary Club Young Musician of the Year won the coveted All-Ireland Rotary International award, the Seán Doyle Cup, in 2016.
