Rathmore girl to compete in Miss Ireland

Rathmore native Maria Murphy has qualified from her heats and is set to represent Dublin in the Miss Ireland Competition which takes place in the capital on September 16.
A past pupil of Scoil Phobail Sliabh Luachra, Rathmore, Maria completed her undergraduate degree and her masters at UCC and is now working in Dublin. She is the daughter of Tim and Josephine Murphy from Ballydaly.
