Raise cash for mountain heroes

DURING 2016 Kerry Mountain Rescue Team responded to 41 separate calls for help assisting 40 people and dealing with two fatalities. So far in 2017, the team has responded to over 25 calls.
The team is made up of 35 entirely voluntary members who are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Income for KMRT is sourced primarily from donations and fundraising, with a small portion of funding coming from Government grants.
You can help the team on September 24 but supporting a céilí in Knocknagoshel in aid of Kerry Mountain Rescue Team.
The event is being organised by John Nolan of Knocknagoshel Community Centre.
