Racecourse to host car show next month

Killarney Valley Classic and Vintage Club will host a second car show at Killarney Racecourse on September 11.
Following the success of its July show the club has decided to run a second event, but this time with one slight difference.
The July event was only open to cars 20 years or older but the September event will cater for all cars, regardless of age, so modern supercars and modified vehicles will be allowed enter.
This event is an expansion of the previous Cars-n-Coffee events that were run at KC Print before the pandemic set it.
September’s show will be a cross between the annual classic car show and Cars-n-Coffee.
“We will have a proper launch about two weeks before the event and all details will be released then, but for now we are anxious to get the word out there,” club PRO, Tom Leslie, told the Killarney Advertiser.
A similar event was run at the Racecourse last year and it attracted over 100 cars.
