Pupils have a love of literacy at Loughquittane NS

BOOK WORMS: Children from Loughquittane NS enjoyed World Book Day recently.
Literacy was brought to life in Loughquittane NS for World Book Day recently as children dressed up in their favourite characters.
They had a fantastic day bringing their favourite literary characters to life and it really helped foster a spirit of reading within the school," teacher John O'Donoghue said.
"Classes spent the day both reading, and equally as importantly, listening to stories being read aloud. It is one of our favourite days of the school calendar and we can't wait for next year already!"
