Killarney Ploughing is hosting its annual ploughing competitions tomorrow (Sunday).
A top quality entry is expected for the final – including an entry from County Antrim – and the local class winners will get to represent Killarney at the National Ploughing Championships in Ratheniska County Laois from September 20 to 22 next year.
The event will take place at Coffey’s Farm Fossa from 11am to 4pm.
“Spectators are welcome to attend but social distancing and COVID-19 regulations must be followed,” chairman Tom Wharton told the Killarney Advertiser. “One unusual thing to look out for is we have three horse teams entered.”
