Petrolheads zoom into town as part of supercar tour

K
KILLARNEY has always been a bit of a hot-spot for motoring enthusiasts on tour and never more so than lately, what with the arrival last month of the Top Gear crew, let by Chris Evans and Matt LeBlanc.
This week saw a cavalcade of 22 supercars hit town, including Porsches, Aston Martins, Ferraris, McLarens and Jaguars which rolled into Killarney in recent days as part of a Petrolhead Tour of Ireland.
Onlookers stopped in their tracks to watch as the cars drove past before reaching The Brehon Hotel, where the drivers were based.
Petrolhead Tours take people on guided driving holidays throughout Europe and North America. This tour is travelling the Wild Atlantic Way taking in the Ring of Kerry, Dingle, the Cliffs of Moher, Galway, Sligo, Donegal and Antrim’s Giant’s Causeway.
