Pedal for Grace Returns to Firies for fourth year
The annual Pedal for Grace community event is set to return to Firies on Saturday, September 6, 2025, for its fourth year.
The event, which raises funds and awareness for people living with sight loss, has become a key date on the local calendar.
Organised by the O’Sullivan family in honour of their daughter, Grace O’Sullivan, the event supports people living with Stargardt disease, a genetic eye condition that causes progressive vision loss.
Despite her own challenges, Grace is a talented Irish dancer who has won a World medal.
Over the past three years, Pedal for Grace has raised over €66,500 for Vision Ireland, directly supporting thousands of people nationwide. The event, which offers cycles and a walk, is a way for the community to show their support.
