Open a new chapter to enjoy a blind date with a book at Tralee Library
A
ARE you falling into a pattern of reading the same kinds of books and the same familiar authors over and over again? Cannot read anything but crime?
What if you're missing out on a wonderful book you've never heard of?
For the month of February, during which of course we celebrate St Valentine’s Day, Tralee Library is offering readers the opportunity to discover something new by going on a blind date with a book.
Tralee Library has wrapped up a few of their favourites and hope that readers will fall for them too. They have wrapped the books in brown paper, and have written on a few descriptive words. Customers then have to select their books based entirely on that – no cover art to help them out, no rating, and no titles.
Here’s how it works...
· Read the profile on the book label and take a chance
· Bring your choice to the desk to be issued to you
· You may just find out you’re well matched
