Noreen gets keys to dream machine

IT FINISHED where it all started on Tuesday evening last at Moriarty’s Centra Farranfore, when Noreen Murphy, Clonkeen, Glenflesk, took possession of the MF135 Tractor, fully restored by the Killarney Valley Classic & Vintage Club. Noreen was drawn as first prize-winner of the club’s raffle at the presentation night of the South Kerry Ploughing Championships on September 30.
Tom Leslie, chairman of Killarney Valley Classic and Vintage Club, thanked Mike and Mags Moriarty who started this charity project for the club.
Cheques from the proceeds will be presented to the four benefitting charities, the Kerry Branch of the Irish Kidney Association, Down Syndrome Kerry, The Irish Pilgrimage Trust and the Kerry/Cork Health Link Bus shortly.
