Muckross guitarist releases new album inspired by brother’s suicide
Renowned guitarist Stephen William Hodd is set to release his highly anticipated fifth studio album, 'Better Man', a poignant tribute to his late brother, Matt.
The album was inspired by Matt's suicide and tackles mental health issues, offering a message of acceptance and love.
Hodd, who has toured with artists like Passenger and Lou Rhodes, was born in Scotland but moved to Killarney when he eas four-years-old and grew up in the Muckross area. He is currently based in Suffolk, England.
'Better Man' is a deeply personal project that reflects Hodd's experiences and emotions following his brother's tragic passing.
The album's second single, 'Eavesdropping on Your Soul' is set for release on September 15.
This heartfelt track explores the complexities of love and the vulnerability that comes with trusting someone deeply.
