More to be done on traffic management – Cllr Grady

Cllr Donal Grady has welcomed the addition of new traffic management measures - but has warned there is a lot more to be done to solve congestion in the town.
A new box junction was recently painted on the Woodlawn and Muckross intersection. The Woodlawn junction is just one of many traffic congestion blackspots in the town.
Cllr Grady has been calling for such a measure for a long time and has had several motions before Killarney Municipal District meetings in the past.
“We [the elected councillors] have been calling for a traffic management plan for years and we are just not getting one,” he told the Killarney Advertiser.
