Moloney elected as Deputy Town Mayor
Cllr Marie Moloney has been elected as the Deputy Mayor of Killarney.
A special sitting of Killarney Municipal District Council took place on Tuesday this week.
The only item in the agenda was the election of a Deputy Mayor where Moloney was
proposed by Mayor Niall Kelleher and seconded by Cllr Niall O’Callaghan and she was elected unopposed.
Moloney’s term will run until the end of the current lifetime of Killarney Municipal District Council as local elections are scheduled for early summer.
The Killcummin resident previously served as Town Mayor between 2021 and 2022.
