Maryann captures Kathleen!

Killarney Camera Club’s recent print competition was keenly contested in the Novice category.
Maryann Heidtke’s photograph of Dingle Lighthouse, taken on April 5 this year – in the height of Storm Kathleen – which took first place.
“When Storm Kathleen hit Dingle it brought with it strong southerly winds combined with spring tides. The result, an enormous surge of water producing gigantic waves. I was in the right place at the right time and managed to capture some of the biggest waves I have ever seen under Dingle Lighthouse,” said Maryann.
