Margaret hits jackpot with help of her colleagues at Daly’s SuperValu
H
HER colleagues at Daly’s SuperValu helped ensure Margaret Cahill struck it lucky and went home a whopping €16,800 richer this week.
Margaret, from Spa, bought a ticket for Rathmore GAA Club’s lotto from her workmate at Daly’s, Jacinta Murphy.
And another colleague, Mike Cronin, who happens to be secretary of the club, was on hand to break the good news that Margaret’s numbers had come up in the lotto.
The jackpot hadn’t been won in over a year so there was great jubilation as Mike presented the cheque to Margaret this morning in Daly’s SuperValu where colleagues clamoured to congratulate Margaret.
“It was a big surprise to win,” a delighted Margaret told Killarney Advertiser. “I definitely plan to enjoy the prize!”
