Man discovered at apartment complex in Killarney pronounced dead

A MAN discovered at an apartment complex on Upper High Street, Killarney, on Sunday was pronounced dead this afternoon.
The man, 32, who was found with serious injuries, was pronounced dead at Cork University Hospital.
Gardaí discovered the body of an 11-month-old baby boy, Karol Rozycki, after being called to an incident at the apartment complex.
The baby was treated at the scene by emergency services personnel but was pronounced dead a short time later. The Assistant State Pathologist, Dr Margot Bolster, carried out a preliminary examination at the scene.
An incident room has been established at Killarney Garda Station and a Garda Family Liaison Officer was appointed in the case. Members from the Garda Technical Bureau examined the scene.
Investigating Gardaí continue to appeal for witnesses. Anyone with information is asked to contact Killarney Garda Station 064-6671160, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
The investigation is ongoing.
