Londoners donate to Kerry Mountain Rescue Team

By Sean Moriarty
The Kerry Association London has made a generous donation to the Kerry Mountain Rescue Team following recent fundraiser in the British capital.
A cheque for £3,000 (€3,467.74) was presented by long-serving Kerry Association London member Noel O’Sullivan during a recent visit home.
James Cahill, a patron of the Kerry Mountain Rescue Team was in attendance at the presentation. James, was seriously injured in an accident on Carrauntoohil some years ago and knows full well the fantastic work undertaken by the voluntary members of the team.
“It is a show of appreciation for, and acknowledgement of the dangerous and unheralded work of Kerry Mountain Rescue that was the catalyst for a fundraising campaign undertaken by the Kerry Association London at a number of social functions held over the last number of months,” James said.
