Local Macra set for national drama final

Killarney Macra are putting in plenty of rehearsal time before they take part in the Macra National Drama final on Saturday, April 27 in Cork.
The club are acting the play 'Where There's A Will’, which was written by playwright Jimmy Keary. The local group, directed by Aisling O’Sullivan Darcy and Sandra McSherry, came through a tough round in Conna Community Hall at the beginning of this month to qualify for the final.
Cast members are Emma Cronin, Conor Brosnan, Sarah Hunt, Ed McSweeney, Rebecca Fitzgerald, Jeremiah Murphy, Robert Lucey and Ryan Jones.
“The final will take place in Rossmore Co Cork beginning at 7.30pm,” Ger Foley, PRO of Killarney Macra, said.
“We wish the cast and the directors the best of luck.”
