Local insurance broker invited to join national committee
Local insurance broker John Healy of Healy Insurances has been invited to join the General Insurance committee of national representative body, Brokers Ireland.
Commenting on the appointment John said “I am delighted to join the committee and hopefully my 26 years of experience in the Insurance industry will allow me to offer valuable insights and assistance to Brokers Ireland. We have held a number of progressive meetings so far including a recent meeting with the Department of Finance on the Insurance reform developments”
Hazel Rock, Brokers Ireland’s Head of Insurance Services said “We are delighted to have John on board, the committee has already brought great insight with constructive dialogue translating into action on key issues”
Brokers Ireland is the leading representative body for Insurance Brokers with a combined strength of over 1200 firms representing both Insurance and Financial Brokers throughout Ireland. Their responsibilities include advising members, regulators, government and other stakeholders on key insurance issues in order to raise and maintain industry standards.
