Local club to host Kerry’s first autojumble
&
The Mid Kerry Vintage Club will host the county’s first autojumble in Castlemaine this tomorrow (Sunday), at 8am.
Autojumbles, a bring-and-buy sale for classic vehicle enthusiasts, are a popular way of sourcing unusual parts and other memorabilia that is not on general sale.
The Mid-Kerry club usually runs a vintage rally in July, but club members identified the need for an autojumble after visiting similar events in Cork and Limerick.
“There are two very good events in Drumcollegher and Fermoy,“ organiser Denis Tagney said. “There is nothing like this in Kerry so we said we would give it a try. We are expecting a good turnout going by feedback and enquires.”
