Local band Greywind to support The Coronas
Killarney band Greywind are set to support Irish superstars The Coronas at the INEC this December.
The two-piece alternative rock band from Rock Road, was formed by siblings Steph and Paul O'Sullivan, who have already played at the Reading, Leeds and Download festivals in the UK.
Earlier this year they made their debut at the legendary Isle of Wight Festival alongside Fat Boy Slim, Rick Astley and KT Tunstall in front of 70,000 people.
At the time they promised local fans that they will play their first home-town gig in Killarney before the end of the year and this week it was confirmed that they will play as a warm up act before The Coronas, take to the stage on December 29.
“It is the right time to do this and it is worth the wait,” guitarist Paul told the Killarney Advertiser. “I have seen The Coronas play at the INEC and the atmosphere is always electric. We are very excited to finally play a home-town gig and to play alongside The Coronas makes it even better.”
Tickets areavailable from www.inec.ie.
