This sold out, mischievous, musical adaptation of Synge's classic was presented outdoors under canvas, in the style of a 1950s theatrical fit-up under the stars, and was enjoyed by all who attended.
Adapted by Diarmuid de Faoite, Justin McCarthy and Producer Maria Moynihan Lee, the cast of 15 included ‘Foley’ actors and a live band.
“It was a five-star performance from start to finish. The energy and the enthusiasm of the actors and musicians involved was palpable to all who were lucky enough to attend any of the three performances. Nothing beats a live performance,” said Muckross Traditional Farms Manager, Toddy Doyle.
