Lissivigeen pupil Ella Moynihan wins county road safety award
The artwork of a creative Killarney school pupil has been chosen to feature in next year's Kerry County Council Road Safety Calendar.
Ella Moynihan, a sixth-class student at Lissivigeen National School, was selected as one of the winners in the council's annual road safety art competition.
She was recently presented with a trophy during a ceremony at the Council Chambers in the Kerry County Council building. Her winning entry is featured on the council's 2026 calendar.
The competition received over 500 entries from primary school children across the county this year. According to the council, the high level of participation demonstrated the artistic talent of local students and their commitment to sharing the message of road safety.
