Killegy House on the market for €950k

By Sean Moriarty
A holiday home once owned by celebrities Bill Cullen and Jackie Lavin’s is on the market for €950k.
Killegy and Hunting Lodge boasts two separate homes – 517sq m house and a 120 sq m guest lodge – as well as tennis court, access to a private lake and a snooker room.
The property sits on 34 acres of secluded gardens and woodlands.
The sale is being handled locally by Tom Spillane Auctioneers on East Avenue.
“This unique and wonderful home is an oasis in this world renowned and historic part of Ireland, only a stones through from Muckross House and parklands and a few minutes’ drive to Killarney town,” he said.
“The lake sits to the west of the property with views from the main house, and beyond to the lakes of Killarney and the Magillicuddy Reeks. Dry stone walled-in areas, pasture and woodland make up the remaining lands. There is a fenced in tennis court with a pathway leading from the house.”
