Killarney snappers put compelling stories in the picture
A
A PICTURE paints a thousand words and that’s certainly true of a display staged in Dublin thanks to two leading Killarney photographers.
Julien Behal and Valerie O'Sullivan are involved in a special National Lottery exhibition which opened on Wednesday and which will run until Saturday.
The outside photography exhibition, at St Stephen’s Green, Dublin, features the beneficiaries who have enjoyed windfalls from the National Lottery Good Causes funding – some of whom are from Kerry.
Julien travelled the length and breadth of Ireland to photograph a variety of organisations and Valerie captured images of Kerry beneficiaries Rathmore Social Action Group and Finuge Freewheelers. “All the pictures tell the compelling stories of the impact of Good Causes funding to communities and organisations all over Ireland,” Julien told Killarney Advertiser.
