Killarney Rugby Minis the best in Munster
L
Last week, I attended the Munster Rugby player awards at the Clayton Silversprings Hotel in Cork. It was great to see all the players at the event, given the huge disappointment suffered the previous weekend in Bordeaux. There certainly was a determined feeling of wanting to put things right in the remaining matches of the season.
A full house was on hand to witness the awards where Keith Earls won the Munster Rugby Player of the Year and as luck would have it we were seated with Kerry’s own JJ Hanrahan!
The big news for Killarney and West Munster was that Killarney RFC Minis were announced Munster Rugby Minis Club of the Year – a huge achievement for all involved. This is due to hard work on and off the pitch and is a testament to the work we are doing with the kids who love the game. Well done to everyone who now take a well-deserved break for the summer, returning in early September for a brand new season!
