Killarney locations feature in new thriller film
A new short film has been completed in Killarney with all scenes shot in and around the town.
Chameleon, a psychological thriller set in the 1980s, was written and directed by Paddy Osborne and features a cast and crew made up of well-known Killarney film professionals.
Local businesses and residents played a major role in the production. Locations included Kennedy’s Pet Farm, Tim Jones Your Family Butcher, Hazels Nuts About Vintage, Leane’s Tool Hire & Sales, and Eugene O’Riordan’s farm. Support also came from Liz Osborne and Thomas and Keith O’Connor of Connect Electrical Services.
Osborne thanked everyone who provided props and made their properties available. The film, produced by Brian Bowler with Eugene D’Arcy as Director of Photography, is expected to be completed in the coming weeks.
