Killarney Leaving Cert students give their verdict on results

THE wait is over for Leaving Cert exam candidates and when we caught up with students at Killarney schools this morning there was a feeling of overall relief.
Aisling O'Mahony, Killarney, from St Brigid’s Presentation Secondary School, pictured above left, said: “I wasn’t stressed over my Leaving Certificate. I’m hoping to study business and law in UCC.”
Another St Brigid’s student, Aoife Courtney, Killarney, pictured in photo above, second from left, with her mother Margaret, described her Leaving Certificate experience as "bearable" "I’m hoping to study Commerce in UCC," she said.
Abigail Graham, Fossa, and Sarah Finnan, Glenflesk, pictured in photo third from left above, collected their results at Killarney Community College this morning. They described the Leaving Cert experience as “hard”, adding: “It was such a relief today getting our results.”
Killarney Community College students Jordyn Tuohy and Michelle O’Sullivan, in photo on right, described their exam experience as “wonderful”.
