Killarney cemetery to get a Columbarium wall

Plans for a Columbarium wall at the newly constructed Cemetery in Knockeenduff, will go ahead despite concerns that Kerry Council may a face budget shortfall as a result of the pandemic.
A recent web-based meeting between elected council officers and senior management confirmed that the project will go ahead.
Killarney councillor Brendan Cronin has been a long-time advocate of the project and he sought clarification for Council Chief Executive Moira Murrell on a previous commitment given by the council for the construction of a Columbarium wall.
Ms Morrell confirmed to the meeting that the construction of the wall in the Killarney was going ahead and Cllr Cronin welcomed the news.
