Kerry Drinks Festival set for Racecourse in November

Killarney Racecourse will host the first-ever Kerry Drinks Festival on Saturday, November 15.
The new event is a showcase of Ireland’s drinks industry, featuring over 45 producers of whiskey, gin, craft beer, cider, vodka, liqueurs, and more.
Sponsored by Carry Out Killarney and Dingle Distillery, the event will begin with a Trade Expo at 2:30pm for those working in bars, restaurants, and hospitality. It will allow professionals to sample products and meet producers ahead of the busy festive season.
One of the main features is the Dingle Distillery Masterclass from 6pm to 7pm. This will include a guided tasting and insight into the distillery’s range.
From 7pm, the general public will be welcomed into the Brand Expo & Social.
Each guest will receive a complimentary tasting glass. The route through the venue will begin with a Beerhall, continue past food stalls, and lead into the Spirits Lounge. Complimentary mixers will be available, and visitors can meet producers throughout the evening.
The festival is organised by Sonya O’Dwyer and Laurie O’Dwyer, who also run the Cork Whiskey Fest.
Speaking at the announcement, Sonya said, “We are thrilled to launch Kerry Drinks Festival this November. With the help of everyone in Kerry, we are excited to create something really special for the county.” Laurie commented, “It will be a weekend of great drinks, great atmosphere and plenty of craic”
Tickets go on sale at 7pm on Friday, July 18, at kerrydrinksfestival.com.
