Kerry Diocesan Youth Service rebrands to Kerry Community Youth Services

Kerry Diocesan Youth Service (KDYS), a well-established organization serving young people across County Kerry, has rebranded and will now be known as the Kerry Community Youth Services (KCYS).
The change reflects the organisation’s evolving mission and aligns with the national “Youth Work for All” campaign, which focuses ont he importance of accessible youth work services for all young people.
Following extensive consultation with young people, volunteers, stakeholders and the local community, it was decided that the organisation previously known as KDYS would become Kerry Community Youth Service.
This milestone marks the first update to the charity’s Constitution since its inception. The revision process was guided by the Charity Regulator's recommendations on good governance and provided an opportunity for the organisation to highlight key priorities, including youth participation and climate justice.
KCYS continues to deliver vital programs in Killarney supporting young people through education, health initiatives, and skill-building opportunities.
