Jamie to take on epic 24 hour challenge

By Michelle Crean
It's that time of year again as participants in the 54321 Challenge are set to take on four gruelling days for Kerry charities next week.
They are starting the challenge next Thursday morning from Fossa GAA Clubhouse, but ahead of the annual epic event they will have a fundraising Spinathon event in Killarney town this Sunday run by The Irish Pilgrimage Trust.
And one of the group's participants, Jamie O'Shea, has decided to attempt the full four day challenge in just 24 hours next week!
He plans to cycle the Ring of Kerry, Climb Carrauntoohil, Cycle on to Cahersiveen and Climb Cnoc na dTobar on Saturday (August 20).
He will then join his team on Sunday morning to complete the fourth day of the challenge.
To donate, see Facebook: 54321challenge and GoFundMe: 54321-challenge-10-years-on.
"We are just nearly at 25% of our €100,000 goal," Tony Dunne said.
